Dr. Kim earned his medical degree at the Yonsei University College of Medicine in Seoul, South Korea, and performed his pediatric residency at the University of Illinois Medical Center and Illinois Masonic Medical Center, and served a neonatology fellowship at the University of Illinois Medical Center
He also served as a pediatrics instructor at the University of Illinois Medical Center and Abraham Lincoln School of Medicine at the University of Illinois-Chicago.
