A product of Chicago’s south suburbs, Dr. Oliver earned his undergraduate degree at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and medical degree at Southern Illinois University School of Medicine. He chose SIU SOM since their focus is on primary care medicine. He performed a residency in Internal Medicine and a separate residency in Pediatrics, both at SIU SOM. He is board-certified in Internal Medicine and is also board certified in Pediatrics

"I came back to the south suburbs after completing my training to serve the area where I had grown up. I enjoy caring for entire families and getting to know not only their medical histories, but also their social histories. Since I am able to care for patients starting at birth, and following them throughout their entire lives, I have been able to become an integral part of the health care team for many of my patients and families. It is great to see my patients grow and advance through their lives."

Dr. Oliver prides himself on listening to his patients and keeping them involved with decisions involving their health. He focuses on preventive medicine along with caring for the patient’s more complex medical needs like Diabetes, Hypertension, Heart disease, Lung disease, Kidney disease, etc.

Outside of the clinic, he enjoys hiking, camping, fishing, running, cycling, and traveling. He especially enjoys music and cheering for his favorite sports team, the Chicago Blackhawks.
